INSTALLATION GUIDE

Connect the Power Tower to the Serial port of the DX Central using the Serial cable

provided with the Tower.

Connect the Tower to each device by following the instructions in the Power tower

User Guide.

21. Order of powering on

Connect the DX units to the power supply using the Power cable provided.

Important!

It is imperative that the following order for powering on be followed. Failure to do so

will result in the system being inoperative.

1. All first and second level devices (servers etc.).

2. All second level Matrix Central units – wait 2 seconds before step 3.

3. The first level Matrix Central unit.

4. The DX User units.

22. Resetting the DX Central

To reset the DX Central, press the Reset button on the rear panel. The X-RICCs are

unaffected by this reset.
